“The Circle” has become one of Netflix’s most addicting shows. The streamer’s reality TV series is all about social media, forging friendships, and doing whatever it takes to be declared the winner. Recently, “The Circle” ended Season 4, and fans loved every minute of it. Warning: Spoilers for the Season 4 finale below!
“The Circle” fans watched as the final five were set. Frank, Imani (aka Trevor), Everson, Yu Ling, and Rachel were all hopeful that they may take home the money. However, there can only be one winner and that was Frank Grimsley. Frank took home the show’s biggest prize yet of $150,000 much to the delight of his castmates.
Of course, viewers immediately began to wonder if “The Circle” would return for Season 5 in the future, and the answer is yes! The Netflix fan-favorite will be back for another round, as it’s already been renewed (via Cosmopolitan). The series was renewed back in 2021, However, there is currently no word about when the new episodes will drop. Of course, the cast is also still a mystery at this point.
After Season 4 brought a huge twist that saw two members of The Spice Girls playing as a catfish, it remains to be seen if any other stars could join “The Circle” in the future.
Former winners of “The Circle” have included Joey Sasso, DeLeesa St. Agathe, and James Andre Jefferson Jr. The show’s latest winner, Frank, revealed that he planned to use his prize money to pay off some big debit, including college loans.
“My problem used to be I didn’t have any money,” Frank told Parade. “I was paycheck to paycheck. And it’s not that anymore. I can get what I want if I really want to, even though I shouldn’t sometimes.”
Frank won over viewers of “The Circle,” as well as his fellow cast members by radiating positivity, being open and honest about himself and some of the very personal heartaches he’s suffered in his life, and more. He stayed true and genuine to his character, which ultimately paid off for him. His co-stars couldn’t help but love his energy and ended up ranking him high enough to take home the crown in Season 4.
“I think that I am not like anybody else in this world. I knew that I could not only play the game, I knew that I could win the game,” Frank said. “And I felt like I could do that by genuinely just being my authentic self. My friends find it so funny. They’re like, ‘They probably think that you’re just doing this for TV, and you’re like this in real life,'” he continued. “I watched a lot of reality TV. So I knew what I wanted to represent in that space.”
